In addition to viewing customer’s key Activities on the Timeline tab, we’ve found it useful to also include links to the activities directly in the C360 Detail page. Including the activity links on the Detail page makes it easier to prep for executive meetings and to handle management escalations.
The instructions below explain how to create a basic Timeline activity report, and then add the report as a related list section in a C360 Layout.
1. In the Report Builder, select the Activity Timeline source object.
2. Add the Subject, User Name, and Activity Date fields to the Show me section. (You can add more fields, or a By option, according to your business needs.)
3. Enter a report name and save it.
